Steps to Spectate Anyone in PUBG Mobile

This guide is available for anyone who has updated their game on Android, iOS and Android emulator. Make sure your game is updated to the latest version. You can only spectate those who are in your friend list on PUBG Mobile. Now follow the simple step by step guide ahead:

Step#1 Run PUBG Mobile

Step#2 Open Friend list in the game.

Step#3 Now you will see a Play shaped Icon along with your friends who are currently playing game. Just Tap on that icon.

Step#4 It will prompt confirmation message if you want to spectate that friend. Hit Ok and you are good to go.

In this Spectate mode, you can’t talk or text to that friend while spectating. But you can spectate his/her squad as well.

How to find if someone is spectating you?

If you are playing a game and a friend started to spectate you, the text options will start glowing just like when you receive a message from a friend outside the game. If you want to find exactly who is spectating you, then follow the guide given ahead.

When you are in the game, click the chat box icon located below the mini map at top right side of the screen.

Error “Spectator limit has been reached”? What to do about it?

I recently encounter an issue when I was about to spectate a friend that the spectator limit has been reached. When I searched the internet. There are many people saying that this issue only occurs when an Emulator user tries to spectate the Mobile user and the mobile user tries to spectate Emulator users.

But when I tried with my friend, it worked just fine but after an hour, it showed the same error. Maybe it’s a bug and hopefully they will fix it on a next update. If you guys find anything about it, let us know in the comment box below.

How to disallow your friends from Spectating you?

If you don’t find it good or for any reason, you don’t want your friend to spectate you, then you can disable this option. To do that, you need to follow the guide given ahead.

On the main screen of PUBG Mobile, Tap on Gear icon given at the bottom right side of the screen. It will open the settings of the game.

Now on Basic Settings portion, go down a little and from there you will find an option that says Allow Spectators. Tap Disable and you are good to go.

This will allow you to disable this option. Now your friends can’t spectate you. But you can spectate them if they didn’t disable this option as well. You can also hide career result from your friends as well.
